How and what information do we collect?

To process your registration and ensure you receive information related to the Dance School, personal data is collected via our registration form. This includes

• Name of student

• DOB

• Relevant medical history

• Dance experience (level & training)

• Photography and film consent

• Full address, email and telephone number (of Parent/Carer if student is under 18)

• Emergency contact details.

How is your information used?

• We only keep the one original copy of the student’s personal data sheet and it is stored securely.

• A register for each class is maintained by the teacher and records student attendance for the purposes of safety and security.

• We supply details of students’ name and dates of birth to the following bodies when registering them for examinations: 

1. Royal Academy of Dance

2. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing

• To create and send invoices for services

• To share information with police and emergency services, where there are safeguarding concerns or in an emergency situation

• To contact your nominated contact in an emergency situation and to treat you in an emergency first aid situation
